Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, one of the nation's leading pediatric centers, expanded to Frisco in October 2018 with the opening of Scottish Rite for Children Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center. Recognizing the need for a patient access point in the fast-growing northern suburbs, Scottish Rite for Children is a new ambulatory care center located in Frisco. The facility, situated on 40 acres at Lebanon Road and the Dallas North Tollway, is an extension of the Dallas hospital and offers sports medicine and orthopedic clinics, fracture care and day surgeries for children.
For surgeries requiring overnight stays and other related services, patients will be referred to Dallas. Since 1921, the hospital has provided medical care for more than 300,000 children. Patients receive excellent care regardless of a family’s ability to pay.
The Frisco location is anchored by our Center for Excellence in Sports Medicine, which provides specialized treatment for sports-related orthopedic conditions and concussions and a sports injury prevention and education program to improve athletic safety within schools and local sports teams. General orthopedic clinics are offered for spine, hand, hip and rheumatology. Additional services include the fracture clinic, movement science laboratory, prosthetics and orthotics, and physical and occupational therapy.
